born in Shanghai, Weiwei Xu is a composer & sound artist. she focuses on different aspects in composition: instrumental timbre, recorded sounds, improvisation, and design temporal structure, think within and beyond the convention - rationality, sensitivity, fragility, spontaneousness, and indeterminacy, The process of creation itself, becomes the compositional code. weiwei studied composition with Peter Edwards (SG YSTCM), with Klaus Lang and Beat Furrer (Kunstuni Graz).
